A battle erupted in the Ebon Reach Marketplace on Tuesday night that gave proof to our fears that Black Molly has risen from her watery grave. Not only has she risen but reports indicate there are traces of void magic in her presence and that she is calling back her comrades who were killed in the raids from a year ago. The undead are gathering strength. .
Void magics are at play here. The lights I heard described which surrounded the pirate – we have seen similar happenings with those affected by Void magics. But even had I not heard of this report, Mahan and myself witnessed Ganis opening the large stone door to grant the skeletal pirate access. Reports have him leading Molly from the Crone’s Eye were her remains were initially stored. Skeleton no more, she seems to be fully empowered and been granted the ability to summon the dead.
Kuvari’s Deep has offered their assistance in this matter. The Talisae, Xae’raan Thiaroe herself stated as such and for this we are grateful. We must seek out the Moei to determine their participation. They must also be warned if they are not yet aware of the implications. The pirates targeted the Asing apothecary to not only for the purposes of theft but also to kidnap. Their former Myan was taken as hostage aboard the pirate ship and we believe they intended to keep her for knowledge of poisons and herbs. The pirates were beaten back but not before escaping with the Myan. Their blood stained the roots of Tilikambo near the Ku’vesi pools. Other fierce battles took place during Gnome Depot/craft dock robbery and the final battle on the beach.
At this time I have to thank those denizens who rose to fight against the undead. Reverus and Nyx were both in the Medica last night being patched up from wounds sustained. I collected many of the details from then. The wizard, Elendil Olorin and Siren Delilah were also described. There were two others present who also stood against the dead. One in Shalan’ti style garb and another that appeared to be a scribe – perhaps companions? Their identity as of this time remains unknown.
Black Molly’s execution remains a stain on our memory. Most who were there do not speak of what occurred. But that does not change the fact that these pirates robbed, attacked, and raised chaos with us for weeks last year. We must stand ready to battle against them again. I believe we should begin watching the other locations where these battles took place. Black Molly called forth her dead companions from within Ebon Reach. The other battle locations – the Beach, Tilikambo, and Gnome Depot – should be watched as there were heavy casualties in these areas as well. And let’s not forget the dock where Molly was executed and her companion’s heads were displayed on pikes. Everyone gather your weapons for use with the undead. Lights. Torches. Magics if you have them. All will be needed if we are to succeed this time around.
